Part-Time Student Advisor (Hourly Paid) - Bali

The British Institute Bandung is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Student Advisor to join our team in Bali (Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, Sanur). Our mission is to provide high-quality English language education to students from around the world. As a Student Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for our students, offering guidance and support to ensure they have a smooth and enriching learning experience.

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting students with their academic and personal needs. You will use tools like Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and Zoom to manage student data, schedule appointments, and provide remote support. Daily, you will interact with students and colleagues, ensuring they feel valued and supported throughout their journey with us.

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

• Provide academic and personal advice to students, helping them navigate their learning journey.
• Assist students with course registration, enrollment, and academic progress using Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
• Schedule and conduct virtual meetings with students using Zoom to address their concerns and provide support.
• Monitor student attendance and participation, and follow up with students who may be at risk of dropping out.
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff to ensure students receive the support they need to succeed.
• Maintain accurate records of student interactions and progress using our internal database system.
• Promote the benefits of our programs and services to students and potential students.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of student support strategies.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in student advising, academic counseling, or a similar role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and Zoom.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for education and a commitment to student success.
• Valid work permit for Bali, Indonesia.
