As an Operating Theatre (OT) Nurse, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and comfort of patients undergoing surgical procedures. Your daily tasks will include preparing the operating room, assisting surgeons and anesthesiologists, monitoring patients' vital signs, and providing immediate care during and after surgery. You'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including doctors, anesthesiologists, and support staff, to deliver the highest standard of care.
📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan
- Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures, ensuring all equipment and supplies are available and functional.
- Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures, providing support and care to patients.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes or emergencies during surgery.
- Provide immediate care to patients after surgery, including wound care, pain management, and recovery support.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure a smooth and efficient surgical process.
- Maintain a clean and organized operating room, adhering to strict hygiene and infection control protocols.
- Document all patient care activities accurately and promptly.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices and new procedures.
🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related healthcare field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Operating Theatre (OT) Nurse in a hospital or surgical setting.
- Certification as a Registered Nurse (RN) from the relevant healthcare regulatory body.
- Proficiency in using operating room equipment and surgical instruments.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, anesthesia techniques, and patient care protocols.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Ability to work long and irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
